The farmhouse "Mikelenea" is located in the small village of Arruitz, pertaining to the valley of Larraun, at the foot of the Mountain range of Aralar.

Arruitz is a small cattle ranch of about 60 inhabitants located 1 km from the A-15, at 612 m. Of altitude, in the mountain of Navarre. It is surrounded by meadows where it grazes the cattle, wool and pig. Woods of oaks and beeches complete the landscape of this place, ideal for hiking.

In Lekunberri you will find the services of the area: doctor, schools, pharmacy, trade. In the village you can visit the parish church of San Cristóbal, Gothic from the 14th century.

It has a covered pediment and a small playground. The three-storey house is a 17th-century building. It is a typical farmhouse in the area of ​​Larraun.

A characteristic of this house are the different living areas, which makes the guests can enjoy a great comfort.

In the rehabilitation of the house the stone walls and part of the old wooden structure have been maintained. The oak, the old wood and the restored antique furniture achieve a warm and cozy atmosphere.

The house has central heating and ample parking. Mikelenea and Mikelenetxiki can be rented together, having a capacity of 26 people. We speak Basque, English and Italian. Pets allowed.
